…the jeans, of course. I just went from having zero Boyfriend style jeans to two that I absolutely adore and the best part -they weren’t overly expensive! I got BOMB deals at TJMAXX where my One Teaspoon Awesome Baggies were $40 instead of the normal $130 or more and my Levi’s 501 Boyfriend Jeans were $14. Yep, I love a good bargain.
This style of denim can be a bit tough depending on your body type. Personally, my initial issue was the lack of accentuation. They’re a pair of jeans that aren’t overly snug and they don’t give you a great butt. They’re actually anti great butt…but this is where style surpasses the general idea of how a woman’s body should look in clothes. We can just embrace a pair of loose fitting, comfortable jeans while trying out a different style and not worrying about how appealing our body parts look. Another issue that I had was finding a pair that actually fit me correctly. I desired a fit that was somewhat loose in the thighs but every single pair was still so tight in the thighs and loose everywhere else…which was odd and not what I was trying to achieve. I decided to go up one size in the waist which gave me more space in the thighs but I had to sacrifice a pronounced butt. Oh well, we wear what we like and that’s ok.

& as a Cali girl I had to represent the Lakers this week! So sad to see the Black Mamba go, but he went out like a boss! Happy Fashion Friday beauties.
