Hello beauties! I’ve been spending some time in GORGEOUS San Diego, CA for the last week and a half and I’m enjoying the sunshine kissing my skin every single day! For those of you who don’t know, I’m originally from San Diego so when I come home it’s a vacation AND I get to see my family and friends so it’s a win-win! I wanted to pass the summer vibes along with an all white look…yes all white…don’t be shy now. Trust me on this one…
So this shoot was in such a dope location. We were in a quarry that had been drained years and years ago in the Quincy area near Boston, MA. The empty area is now a canvas for grafitti artists to express themselves. So amazing. But back to this all white get-up that I would normally shy away from but I decided I’m not going to let my fear of white on white ruin my life…not for nothin. Go into the white light!
My top is from a website called UNItiques which I will give you a single-sentence background about and then tell you more in a later post. It’s an online marketplace where college students can buy, sell and trade fashion (& other things students need) for FREE, you pay for the items that you buy from others but you don’t pay to sell them. It’s actually super cool and incredible for broke college students. Anyway, this top was purchased there for aboutttttt $5 :). The distressed denim is a pair by Michael Kors but they are sold out and no longer available. Booooo! HOWEVER (my new favorite transitional word when speaking) I’ve linked a less expensive and available pair here and a bit more expensive but size flexible high-waisted pair here. As you can see, I’m wearing my favorite comfy little tie-up flats that I purchased for the cheap cheap at DSW. When wearing all white it’s cool to add a pop of color, I stuck with classic black but turquoise or a bright pink would’ve also been cute! I added this old denim jacket that I’ve had forever just to break up the monotany of the white but white on white minus the denim also works 🙂 You’ll slay. All day.
ALSOOOO the poncho that I wore in a post from couple of weeks ago is reversible! That 2-for-1 thoughhhhh. Definitely check out that post to see where I scooped up this fabulous gem! It’s a one-size fits all and the material feels incredible.
Let me know if you love it!
Lotts of Love,
