Fashion Recycling: All Tied Up!

As soon as I saw myself in this I said, “yep, putting this up and sharing it with the world…” well, my piece of the world. You guys!

So you know when you put something on, anything really, and you’re like “yaaasss I am GIVING, honey!”? You look at yourself from the front, then you spin around and look over your shoulder and still, “Yaaasss!”

Well, that’s EXACTLY how I’m feeling in this top. Aside from the fact that it looks good, it’s yet another way that I can wear a flannel! I’m telling you, once I did this with one top I was trying it with all of them. No joke. If you know me in real life and you’re reading this, you should probably get used to this look. It’s coming atcha all kinds of ways.

No, I’m not a fan of ironing πŸ™‚

So over the last couple of summers we’ve been seeing the off-the-shoulder look make a STRONG comeback and I’ve talked about it in the past.

But this is different. This, my friends, is versatility. Mixing it up! Where did I get this idea, you ask?

  1. The latest from one of my favesΒ Zara
  2. The beloved,Β Topshop

I just saved so much money! & because I just can’t keep this from ya’ll, let me go ahead and save you some dollars too. So instead of going out and buying these off-the-shoulder tops, go in your closet and pull out the “Fall Flannels and Button-Ups”. This one in particular I used last yearΒ and it’s sneaking its way back as a new look entirely. So wrapΒ the collar around your shoulders, button it to a comfortable and secure spot…tadow!

From here you can play with the sleeves. Rolled up, scrunched or all the way down. & if you’re feeling extra frisky unbutton the bottom to create a little peek-a-boo slit or tie it up. Do whatcha want!

I hope I encouraged some of you to try this out! I’d love love love to hear your feedback on this look. Let me know if you love it!

Lotts of Love,

Dom
